Studio lighting is one of the best ways to improve your photography.
Unlike natural light that is always changing studio lights are always the same. Also unlike little flashes studio lights can cover larger distances and have a wider beam.
It has always been hard to get a course that is specific to studio lights that offers hands on experience. Paterson Photography offers just the course!!! You will be learning on the same lights that we rent out so now you can take our studio light course and rent the exact lights!

Workshop A
One hour teaching & an hour shooting
This class starts with camera settings designed for studio work (ISO, White Balance, Exposure, etc), lens selection and other techniques such as lighting angles and how to adjust the lights.
Then we head into the studio to practice what we have learned in the classroom.
Cost $150
Workshop B
One hour lesson & Two hours taking pictures in the studio with a model for one of those hours.
This class starts with camera settings designed for studio work (ISO, White Balance, Exposure, etc), lens selection and other techniques such as lighting angles and how to adjust the lights.
Then we head into the studio to practice what we have learned in the classroom, starting with props and then for the last hour with a model.

Workshop C
One hour teaching, two hours shooting with an hour with a live model & an hour editing
This class starts with camera settings designed for studio work (ISO, White Balance, Exposure, etc), lens selection and other techniques such as lighting angles and how to adjust the lights.
Then we head into the studio to practice what we have learned in the classroom, starting with props and then for the last hour with a model.
Then we spend an hour editing our images. This editing concentrates on how to get images ready for print, cleaning up an image, color correction and enhancements for the web / social media.
