White Turtle III - Learning as I go!
White Turtle III – Inside, Learning as I go!

I have been learning a lot with the build of my van……… it has been a lot of fun, a challenge and I have to say again FUN!!!  I love learning new things and building the van has really challenged me to learn. Looking at the van today I am 100% done with the functional part of the build. I could leave tomorrow and drive anyplace in the world and the van would do what I want it to.

Finishing the small things

So doing the initial build was easy, but I am still doing the little finishing that needs to be done.  As mentioned before I hate to preplan the build to far in advance as things seem to change as the build progresses.  So I had a pile of small finishing projects to work on that I managed to get done over the past week.

Side Tracked

So I thought that I would head out to Waterton yesterday (March 31, 2018) to get some pictures.   On the way there I made a detour to Police lake area to see what was out and about.  WELL there was a lot of snow out and about 🙂 . The main highways were good but the other roads were really covered and as I was getting closer to Police Lake the amount of snow on the roads got a lot deeper.  The best thing about it was that there was hardly anybody on the road except for a few farmers feeding cattle.

External Hard Drive Suggestions

Well for the past couple of weeks I have been busy backing up files and adding a couple new hard drives to the studio / work flow. Funny thing was that when I built my editing computer I thought that having a couple 250GB drives would be fine. Boy how fast do these fill up!! So I have been moving files to external drives.
