Bird photography workshops are designed for those who want to get out and improve their skill level.
All the following courses are designed for those that have a good knowledge of their camera and a good grasp on general photography.
If you do not have a good knowledge of your camera I suggest that you take at least one introductory course before the birding workshop.

Because of the nature of bird photography the workshops with teaching (Class A & C) are designed to be taken in the afternoon. Capitalizing on the late afternoon / early evening light.
Workshop B, that starts with shooting and not classroom can be taken either first thing in the morning or late afternoon.
I can break the classes / shooting up to two days. The first day with teaching and the second with an early morning shoot.

Bird Photography Notes
Workshops are for teaching only and do not include transportation to the location of the shoots
As the workshop is based on wildlife we cannot guarantee wildlife for shooting (welcome to the world of wildlife). I do my best to locate wildlife but cannot guarantee anything!
The day of the workshop we will select from to possible locations depending on the weather and bird activity.
Bird workshops available year round. The prime times are Spring & Fall followed by Summer and finally Winter
Bird photography classes are available around Lethbridge or any place in western Canada. If outside of the Lethbridge area a travel fee will apply.
